Burbot, also known as fresh water cod, have become a major new sports fish over the past decade. This is an agressive fish that offers a fantastic fighting opportunity.  When you hook into a burbot, you often feel like you've hooked into a freight train, which makes targetting burbot so much fun.  While burbot inhabit the bottom portion of the lake, they often hover a few feet off the bottom, which makes this SLAM Pack ideal.  You have the option to cast and retrieve the GOLIATH SWIM-Goby, you can vertically jig, or cast and retrieve your the GOLIATH Goby from the shore, boat or even through the ice.  The GRUBBY's are a perfect top hook bait when those burbot are hovering off the bottom.  The MOSS BOSS color has been a hit with burbot and we hope you too find great success with these baits.

  • GOIATH SWIM-GOBY [ Moss Boss color ] is a new plastic goby imitation bait with a pulsating paddle tail that entices the bit when drop to the bottom and retrieving.  This bait was requested by many anglers looking for a goby bait designed for ice fishing and when targetting burbot.
  • GOLIATH GOBY - [ Moss Boss color ] a goby bait ideal for vertical jigging.  The Moss Boss green purple color combination simply attracts burbot.
  • Mini Grubby [ Moss Boss color ] is designed as a cross-over between a GOBY and a GRUB - the perfect shape, size and color for panfish.  Jig them under a float and wait for your float to drop!
  • Micro Grubby[ Moss Boss color ] is designed as a cross-over between a GOBY and a GRUB - and slightly smaller than our Mini Grubby.  Jig them under a float and wait for your float to drop!
  • Loaded with our signature HAMMER JUICE
  • Loaded with hand-ground, sea salt so fish hang on longer
  • GOLIATH SWIM-Goby 6 pcs, GOLIATH Goby 6 pcs, Mini Grubby 10 pcs, Micro Grubby 10 pcs

"Fish fry! I dont usually shy away from my lil Berkeley minnows for perch but the lil baby tad pole thingy (2" Micro Grubby) from @grumpybaits made a huge difference from nibbles to chomps."

"Love using the 2.25" Mini Goby in Natural Goby/Gold color. Lake Simcoe perch love them! I've tried many different baits for targeting jumbos and I have finally found a true winner with GRUMPY Baits. They are the most realistic looking baits ever. They swim exactly like the real goby. I'm always confident that if I miss the first hit, they will circle around for another strike! Can't wait to try these in a few weeks further north for walleye in some back lakes, as I have had tremendous success with them also for targeting walleye on Lake Nippissing. Thank you GRUMPY Baits for creating a true winner!"

Headed up north with my bro to hammer some crappie through the ice. Setup was a 1/16oz round jig with either the 2" Micro Grubby, 2.25" Mini Grubby, or 2.25" Mini Goby, jigging about 9 ft off the bottom in 25 fow. Let's just say the Grumpy's did their job!

First ice in 2023 finally arrived (very late!) and headed to Lake Couchiching, ON. Found some weeds, dropped the Mini Grubby and wham! Fish on and some very nice size too! If you have not tried the Mini or Micro Grubby for perch on Couch or Simcoe, you may want to try. Plus, they are awesome for whities!

I own a cottage in the Parry Sound area and don't fish all that much. My neighbour suggested I try ice fishing for crappie since they are literally off my dock. So, I grabbed some Grumpy baits recommended to me by Natural Sports in Kitchener. What a blast - tons of chunky crappie one after the other. Used the Micro Grubby. Great baits guys!
